Message from the Principal

The Ringwood North Primary School community welcomes you and your family to our school. Ringwood North is an active school

community and you are encouraged to participate in any school program or initiative you are interested in or when you have time to offer assistance. During the Foundation year, support in the
classroom is beneficial to both you and your child. You will get to see first hand how learning develops in a challenging and
stimulating environment and your involvement is always welcome. If you have time, I would strongly encourage you to become involved.

At RNPS we will offer your child every opportunity to succeed in a safe, friendly and supportive school environment. We realise the

responsibility we share with you in helping your child grow and

develop into a respected and contributing member of our world. Success at school is a result of a successful partnership between home and school. We will work with enthusiasm to meet our part in this responsibility and we will support you where needed to carry out yours.

If you have any concerns during the year, please let us know. The earlier problems are addressed, the better for all. Your child’s

teacher is your first point of call and will always be available to make a time to meet with you and discuss any concerns or answer any questions.

This booklet has been prepared to help you understand school

routines and should be kept as a reference throughout the year. My

expectation for your child is that they find their first year at school a happy one and they confidently build and develop new friendships and skills.
